“Faces In The Crowd” workshop comes to The Gandhi Institute

Memphis, TN - For the last two days in October, the M.K. Gandhi Institute will be hosting an interactive diversity workshop called "Faces in the Crowd." This sensitivity training tool was developed by New York artist and educator, Valerie Walawender. Ms. Walawender has presented her "Faces in the Crowd" workshop to scores of organizations and businesses, and has a patent pending on the materials. The first day of the workshops will be held for local businesses and corporations, and the second day has been scheduled expressly for university student organizations. It is our hope that Ms. Walawender's ground breaking work with the "Faces in the Crowd" workshop will seriously impact Memphis, and the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence is honored to be hosting the invaluable educational event.
